Joseph H. Badami, ESQ
Joseph H. Badami, known to his family, friends and colleagues as Joe is currently active in Continuing Legal Education and has taught on various seminars or educational panels in regards with specific topics including bankruptcy law, creditor’s rights and real estate issues.
He graduated law school in 1965 and since then has served in several legal positions including being a judge. In 1989 Joseph Badami joined Woods & Aitken and focused his practice on areas including commercial litigation, creditor’s rights, real estate and debt resolution.
He also served as an attorney for the State of Nebraska Department of Insurance from 1965 to 1966, as a City Prosecutor for the City of Lincoln, Nebraska from 1966 to 1967, and Judge for the City of Lincoln, Nebraska from 1971 to 1975. From 1967 to 1989 Mr. Badami was the Associate General Counsel and General Counsel for First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Lincoln.
Joe Badami is also noted as a prominent attorney/trustee for several of the largest bankruptcy legal cases in Nebraska. He was recently selected as one of The Best Lawyers in America© 2018 in the fields of Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law and Litigation Bankruptcy (Copyright 2017 by Woodward/White, Inc., Aiken, SC). Joe has been listed as one of the best lawyers, twenty-two times in his whole career.
