Jaclyn Long is Founder & Director of Mind Body Moms – which empowers leaders at home and in the workplace with tools to promote mindfulness, compassion, well-being, effective communication and leadership skills. She also serves as a Marriage & Family Therapist in private practice in Los Altos, CA. She is a certified yoga teacher, mindfulness instructor, certified parent educator and a mom. She graduated with highest honors from Princeton University with a degree in psychology and a specialization in neuroscience. She has a Master’s degree in counseling psychology with a certificate in creative expression. She has been facilitating international yoga & wellness retreats since 2004, including retreats in Bali, Costa Rica, Hawaii and Brazil.
Jaclyn values self-awareness, authenticity and meaningful relationships. She supports corporate teams, executives, families, adults and children – empowering them with tools to manage stress, decrease anxiety, improve communication and live a meaningful life.
She weaves inspiring themes into the Mindful Moms practice each week, such as self-care, mindful parenting, effective limit setting, handling our children’s emotional moments, managing maternal anxiety and cultivating compassion for ourselves and for our children. She believes in the transformative power of mindfulness, conscious communication and supportive community. In her free time, Jackie enjoys surfing, singing, songwriting, practicing yoga on the beach, hanging out with friends and connecting with her husband and son.
